How to Make WOTC a Part of Your Onboarding Process
At iRecruit, we hear from people who visit our website all the time who tell us that when it comes to the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, it “takes too much time to manage.”
That’s where we come in. CMS-iRecruit has a dedicated service team working on finding WOTC credits for our customers. We manage the entire administration process from receiving the 8850 and 9061 forms, screening those forms, and submitting qualified candidates to the respective state workforce agencies. We also track the hours and wages of qualified candidates to make sure you get the maximum credit (calculate your potential credit).
Avoid a Screening Lawsuit – Best Practices for Disclosure and Authorization Forms by Verified First
Because background screenings are closely regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), it’s important to ensure compliance. One of the most common screening mistakes employers make is not providing a legally mandated disclosure to candidate and obtaining written consent to conduct a background check. Many companies have suffered costly lawsuits for not complying with these requirements.
Five Ways To Reach and Engage Passive Candidates Using iRecruit
Companies seeking to purchase a new ATS are often looking for ways to improve current processes, and become more efficient. A recent demo participant told us: “We want to seek out passive candidates who haven’t applied, but may be interested in one of our positions and make it easy for those people to engage with us.” During the software demonstration I asked them what they were doing right now to attract passive candidates. What was working for them? As it turns out, they had a large collection of resumes, but with a small HR department of two people, there was not a lot of active outreach going on.
